Biography and unpublished writings.
Friar Giacomo Bini (1938-2014) was a Friar Minor who lived in continual pilgrimage places and services: born in the Marche, training and teaching in Rome and Paris, a missionary in Africa, Minister General of the friars Minor and finally animator of evangelization and ecumenical fraternity of Palestrina (RM). After his death, one of the few things of his cell, were found ten books written since 1982, the year of the start of his missionary work in Africa, until the last months of life. From the pages of his notebooks emerges the world of Brother James: the richness of his life with God who feeds and takes shape from the projects, desires, all the disappointments and difficulties. Almost one last recommendation: the best way to take care of themselves is to leave room for God; and the best face to show others is purified, pacified and enlightened by the presence of God. "God has an incredible confidence in us," he liked to repeat Brother James: from this trust the living and dying of each can be transfigured and become an extraordinary adventure.
