Filosofia, teologia, spiritualità
The Franciscan Father Cherubino (Vincenzo) Bigi († 2003) devoted himself assiduously to the study and teaching of theology and philosophy; with particular attention he was an attentive scholar of Saint Bonaventure, according to whom the study is not only lawful, but also a duty for the friars, provided that it is motivated not by a curiositas worldly (knowledge as a means of power over others), but from that studiositas which is fully consistent with the evangelical spirit of service, which even St. Francis of Assisi endeavored to live and teach. In this volume it is possible to combine some important translations of works by Saint Bonaventura (Collationes and Sermones) which Father Cherubino treated with great care, in addition to the transcription of a series of conferences on philosophical-existential themes held for a radio station in the 80s-90s of the last century.
