Proceedings of the Week of Franciscan studies. Studio teologico interprovinciale San Bernardino - Verona. Cavallino (VE), 1-6 September 2013
The book collects the papers presented at study week organized annually by the Franciscan Theological Study S. Bernardino of Verona, now more than the thirtieth edition.
In 2013, the week was concentrated on Yellow Brother Francis, a text not too well known and studied, that under an appearance simple and immediate hides a wealth of insights and reflections really amazing.
The contribution of P. Maranesi focuses primarily on issues of historical-critical and text, presenting the Admonitions of Francis in their original context.
The intervention of M. Reschiglian, however, try and present an existential reading of the richness of these texts, as defined in the beatitudes Franciscan reason.
The combination of the two perspectives allows us to offer a serious reflection and historically based on this text, and touch as the original intuition Gospel of St. Francis of Assisi continues to pose a challenge and an encouragement for men and woman of our time.
