The study reconstructs the story of the Genovese magazine "Il Gallo", one of the most interesting voices of the Italian Catholic press in the Second World War.
Contributed to the spread of Italian entries in the French Nouvelle Theologie, with a free look then integralism dominant in the Catholic world, anticipating somehow the years of the Second Vatican Council for the defense of religious freedom and pluralism.
