Francis of Assisi is known as the "universal brother". It is for everyone who believes in man, whether religious or not. What's this man's special about? He wanted to be a brother, he knew he was a brother and continued to teach us to be brothers. This little book would like to enter the mystery of his fraternal gaze, taking as his guide his writers. The theme of fraternity goes through all the pages of a reflection divided into two parts: - in the first Francis presents the gift of the vocation to the fraternity, it presents us the ideal of the evangelical radicality; - in the second are presented some more practical aspects, the ways to get in the way and come to be brothers.
JAVIER GARRIDO is a minor Franciscan friar, fired in Philosophy and Theology at the University of Freiburg (CH).
